  • The Future of Learning Systems? Redefining Systems, Computer Education, Spring, 2007. Jason is the 2006-2007 guest contributor of Computer Education, which is published by NAACE, the professional association of the United Kingdom for those concerned with advancing education through the appropriate use of information and communications technology (ICT). The journal publishes reports and summaries of classroom action research based projects of varied scale and focus e.g. recent issues have carried articles on digital story telling with ethnic minority pupils, practical issues of VLEs and effective use of information management systems. Computer Education is made available to to all Naace members (over 4000 advisers, consultants, teachers and others) and to university and academic libraries in the UK.
  • Traditional Storytelling Goes Green, National Storytelling Magazine, January, 2007. Students create, write, tell and video record original stories that they perform in front of a green screen. During the editing process, they slide original artwork behind their performances using green screen chroma editing. The results are spectacular.   • The World of Digital Storytelling, Education Leadership Journal. Through creating electronic personal narratives, students become active creators, rather than passive consumers, of multimedia. They combine oral, written, digital and art literacies as they become heroes of their own learning stories. This article has also been Translated into Spanish.
